Yandex.Rent is a long-term apartment rental service introduced by Yandex in 2021. The service allows you to rent and search for housing online, as well as draw up the necessary documents without a personal meeting between the owner and the tenant.
The task was to make an explainer about the service.
Stages of work: drawing illustrations and characters, animation and editingwith the shooting part, sound design.
When we create illustrative stories, we pay a lot of attention to the design of the characters, so that they liven up the scene and fit the overall narrative. First we make sketches, then detailed drawings in a chosen design style, and after that animation. No step is more important than the previous one – these characters have to be as unique as they are entertaining.
